Alongside the newsletter there is a directory of communities across the north metro. Every community we know of is listed, free, whether or not anyone there has ever heard of us. Any operator can claim their listing and edit it at no charge.
When we can match a Georgia DCH file, inspection notes show on the profile. When a community has enough published family reviews (at least eight), we publish an Enjoy Score: our own number from those reviews and the matched inspection record. It is an opinion, not a certification, and the way it is worked out is published. Not every listing has a score or a matched inspection yet.
Paid tiers exist. They buy better placement and a monthly report on how the listing performed. They do not buy coverage, and they do not move the score.
Enjoy Senior Living is free for families, always. You are never charged for the directory, the tools, a tour request, or the letter.
We are paid by communities, in two ways. A community can pay for a listing upgrade, Enhanced or Featured, which lifts it in search results and puts that word on its card. And when we introduce a family to a community, that community pays us a referral fee. The family pays nothing either way.
Paying never changes a community's Enjoy Score. Scores come from state inspection records when matched and published family reviews, and nobody, paid or not, can buy a higher score, remove a citation, or edit what a reviewer wrote.
Paying never changes what we tell you. An open citation, a thin review base, a missing price: all of it shows on a profile whether that community pays us or not, and the state inspection record on a listing is identical at every tier when we have matched it.
Where a listing has been lifted by a paid tier, its card carries that tier's name, Enhanced or Featured. Sort by Enjoy Score, price, name, or distance and the ranking ignores tiers entirely.
One more thing worth saying plainly: Enjoy is run by the operators of The Joy Senior Living, which is itself listed in this directory. It is scored and inspected on exactly the same terms as every other community here, and it gets no placement it has not earned.
Enjoy is written by Adam Upchurch. He runs The Joy Senior Living in Loganville, and he knows this world from both sides.
When his grandmother passed, his grandfather needed to transition to a new phase of life. Adam watched his dad step into that role, suddenly supposed to know how senior living works, and saw how hard it is to find straight answers. Communities will not tell you prices. National directories will not call back. You are left guessing.
