These terms cover enjoysrliving.com, the Enjoy newsletter, and the directory. Reading the site, subscribing, or claiming a listing means you accept them. They are between you and Enjoy Senior Living.
Enjoy is a newsletter and a directory. We report on senior living in the north Atlanta metro and we publish what we find about the communities in it.
It is not medical, legal, or financial advice. Nothing here is a recommendation about where a particular person should live or what care they need. Those are decisions to make with a doctor, a care manager, or an attorney who knows the person.
The Enjoy Score is our opinion. It is a number we calculate from public inspection records and published ratings, weighted by a formula we chose. It is not a certification, an accreditation, or a guarantee of anything. It changes as the underlying records change, and it can be wrong.
The cost calculator produces estimates from ranges we've gathered. A community's actual price depends on the apartment, the care level, and the month you ask.
Directory information comes from operators, state records, and other public sources. It goes out of date — prices fastest of all.
Verify anything that matters — the licence, the price, availability, what care levels they actually take — with the community itself before acting on it.
If something here is wrong, tell us at hello@enjoysrliving.com and we'll correct it. That goes for a community correcting its own listing and for a family who found the error the hard way.
Any community in our area may be listed. Any owner or authorised representative may claim their listing and edit it, free, with no obligation to buy anything.
Paid tiers buy placement and a monthly performance report. They do not buy coverage. A community that pays is no more likely to be written about, and no more likely to score well, than one that doesn't. What we publish about a community is not for sale, and that includes the community our own team is connected to.
Payment is handled by Stripe. A paid tier renews until you cancel. Cancel whenever you like and the listing keeps its tier through the end of the period you've paid for. We don't prorate refunds, but if something went wrong on our end, write to us and we'll sort it out.
We can decline or remove a listing that is misleading, unlawful, or that we can't verify. If it was paid, we refund the unused part.
Questions, tips, RSVPs, listing copy, photos — you keep ownership of all of it. You give us permission to publish and edit it in the newsletter, on the site, and in the archive.
Please don't send us anyone else's medical or personal information. If you're writing about your parent, keep it to what you'd be comfortable seeing in print: we publish reader questions with a first name and a town.
We can decline to publish anything, and we sometimes will.
Read it, share it, quote it with a link — all fine and all encouraged.
Not fine: bulk-copying or scraping the directory, reselling it, using it to assemble a competing list, or using it to send unsolicited marketing to the communities in it. Automated collection needs our written permission first.
Also not fine: interfering with the site, or trying to reach parts of it that aren't yours.
The care check may offer to introduce you to a placement consultant. It's optional, it's off until you ask for it, and it isn't an endorsement of that consultant.
Anything you arrange with them is between you and them; we're not a party to it and we don't supervise it. We may be paid a fee for the introduction, and where we are, it says so on the page offering it.
We link out — to state records, to community websites, to sources. What's on the other end isn't ours and isn't our responsibility.
Enjoy is provided as it is. We work hard to be accurate and we correct what we get wrong, but we don't promise the site is complete, current, error-free, or always available.
To the extent the law allows: we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of Enjoy, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before it — or $100 if you've paid us nothing.
Nothing here limits liability for anything the law says can't be limited.
When these terms change, the date at the top changes. Carrying on using the site after that means accepting the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Cobb County, Georgia.
