Linwood Estates is an independent living community on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road in Lawrenceville, run by Hawthorn Senior Living. It's for people who don't need help with daily care: rent covers three meals a day, transportation and activities, with live-in managers on site. No assisted living or memory care here, but residents can stay at any of Hawthorn's 70-plus communities around the country through its travel program.
