A Korean-language adult day health centre in Norcross, open since 2009 and, by its own account, the first senior day care in the Atlanta area licensed by the state for Medicaid services. Members come for the day — the centre runs 7:30am to 1:45pm, Monday through Friday — for exercise, classes, games and health seminars, then go home each evening. It serves adults 18 and over whose doctors have found their independence limited, and says Medicaid recipients pay nothing out of pocket.
