Agape Hospice Care of Cherokee County is a hospice agency, part of Three Oaks Hospice, working out of an office on Londonderry Court in Woodstock. The team comes to the patient — at home, in an assisted living community or a nursing home — with nurses, a physician, a social worker, aides and a chaplain, plus medication and equipment tied to the terminal illness. They also run the We Honor Veterans program and offer grief counselling to families. A nurse can visit 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
