Lanier Village Estates is a continuing care campus in Gainesville, on 107 acres near Lake Lanier, run by the not-for-profit Acts Retirement-Life Communities. It's built around one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and detached carriage homes for independent living, with assisted living and skilled nursing on site. Under the Acts Life Care contract, those higher levels of care are covered by the same monthly fee a resident already pays.
